On Saturday, August 24, the Arkansas Wildlife Federation presented CAMN with the 2013 Conservation Organization of the Year award. The theme of the Governor’s 2013 Conservation Achievement Awards Banquet was “Supporting Our Troops” and the key note speaker was Brigadier General Keith A. Klemmer of the Arkansas National Guard. The festivities also included fund raising events in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. A delicious buffet dinner was served which included such delicacies as fried quail and deer chili.
CAMN received a beautiful trophy containing a statuette of a mountain goat.The plaque reads:

Chapter President, Darcia Routh, accepted the award on the chapter’s behalf. Also in attendance in celebration of this recognition were AMN President, Art Lovett, Tom Neale, Eileen Oldag, Bill and Karen Toland, Joe Schafer, Leo Sufka, and Nancy Deckard.
